Well, I have officially settled into my new apartment, and I’ve even set up a neat little workspace where I can get art things together and ready for shipping! There is a downside, though. Unfortunately during the move, a good chunk of my ceramic babes got broken. I have already done my being angry and frustrated. Now I’ve just been playing catch up. My studio time has been compiled of trying to remake all of the broken things and planning for the next update which will likely come later this month. It’s going to take some time and a lot of energy especially with school having started. That’s been an adventure all on its own. It feels like I don’t have a whole lot of time for ceramics anymore. Hopefully soon, the Hub will allow us to come in on Saturdays again. I made huge leaps before COVID on Saturdays. No one would ever come in so I would just spend the whole day in the studio. On the bright side of all this, I have been able to work on other art forms. I have a few digital art projects that I’m currently working on. I just finished one of them a few minutes ago, actually! I’m getting better with Adobe Illustrator. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do. It definitely makes logo design much easier than working between my laptop and Canva on my phone. I hope to get on some paintings soon. It’s been a very long time since I was able to do anything with spray paint, and I have a lot of canvases that need some attention! Hopefully, my schedule mellows out and I get some more time for my artistic endeavors. Til then, thanks for your support!
